Film TWO HEAVENS IN MY LOVE Ready to Air on March 21, Will Also be Screened in 3 Other Countries

Kapanlagi.com - After a long wait, the religious romantic genre film titled TWO HEAVENS IN MY LOVE will finally be able to screen in cinemas in the homeland on March 21, 2024. In fact, the film is also planned to be screened in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei after Eid.

"After a long time, we fought for this film. This film was scheduled to be released on June 4, 2020, but at that time, Indonesia was hit by COVID," said Kiki Nuriswan, the Director, when met at the gala premiere at XXI Bintaro Xchange, South Tangerang City, Monday (03/18/2024).

"This film will be watched in 3 countries, Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore. After Eid, we will screen it in Malaysia," added Kiki Nuriswan.

Indeed, TWO HEAVENS IN MY LOVE film is said by Kiki to be different from his previous works. Besides shooting in Indonesia, the filming locations include Mecca, Medina, and Taif in Saudi Arabia.

"I think this is the first Indonesian film to shoot at Safa-Marwa Hill. This is what sets TWO HEAVENS IN MY LOVE film apart from others," said Kiki.

Actress Yuki Kato, who plays the main role as Zilka in this film, admits to facing big challenges. Moreover, she needs to delve deeper because it is not easy at all.

"Zilka's character is very different from my real character. Of course, this is not easy," said Yuki.

The film is an adaptation of a novel by the late senior journalist, Atho Al Rahman. Executive producer Etty Said Alkadrie, who is also the wife of the late Atho, has high hopes that the film will be accepted by the public.

"We hope that this film will be accepted by the Indonesian film lovers. This film tells a story about sincerity, where we must be ready to accept unwanted circumstances," concluded Etty.

The film tells the story of Arham (Aliff Ali), a final year student at the State Islamic University (Syarif Hidayatullah) Ciputat, South Tangerang. Arham has a little friend named Husna (Keira Shabira) in his hometown in Bogor.

Apparently, they secretly love each other. Until one day, they realize that they have fallen in love. They continue to the stage of marriage.

Zilka (Yuki Kato), a young woman who once fell into the dark world, tries to migrate to the right path. She needs a man who can guide her to a better life.

Her encounter with Arham gives hope to Zilka, the man expected to be her life mentor. Arham, with all his kindness, is faced with a dilemma to bring goodness to everyone around him.

However, the presence of Erwin (Yogi Werner), a psychopath from Zilka's past, adds complexity to the problems faced by Zilka and Arham in this film.
