Admitting Himself as a Coward, Umay Shahab is Tired of Editing the Horror Film 'TEMURUN'

Kapanlagi.com - Successfully capturing the hearts of millions of viewers through two drama genre films, Sinemaku Pictures production house released a horror film titled TEMURUN. In this film, the director's chair was handed over to a debutant named Inarah Syarafina.

Previously, Inarah had worked on short films. When offered by the duo producers Prilly Latuconsina and Umay Shahab to work on a feature film, of course, she was hesitant and lacked confidence.

"I am a debutant here. When I was first offered, I was nervous even though it was not my first time working with Sinemaku. Along the way, I applied my way of working in short films, but the scale is bigger, and there are more people," said Inarah when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Monday (27/5/2024).

1. Tired of Editing Because of Fear

Umay Shahab admitted that he is a coward. So when working as a producer and having to monitor the editing process, he becomes tired because of fear.

"I'm tired of editing this film because I'm tired of being scared. Seriously, I'm really scared. If there's an idea, I can't use it as a benchmark for discussion. The process is fun even though it's tiring when editing," said Umay on the same occasion.

2. Likes to Scare Her Boyfriend

Umay Shahab's fear of horror films is used by Inarah Syarafina to prank him. Because as a girlfriend, Inarah knows how scared Umay is.

"There are moments in some films that I like to convey to the producer to watch. Prilly, okay. Because Umay is a coward, he says, 'No, just tell me about it'. It's fun to scare Umay," said Inarah.

"Can we make it more like a movie promotion? Don't make fun of me," Umay responded, eliciting laughter.
