Ardhito Pramono Reveals Similarities Between Himself and the Character Kale in the Film 'STORY OF KALE: WHEN SOMEONE'S IN LOVE'

Kapanlagi.com - Ardhito Pramono indeed successfully portrayed the character of Kale in the film NANTI KITA CERITA TENTANG HARI INI. The character has become more attached to him because Visinema Pictures finally made a spin-off film titled STORY OF KALE: WHEN SOMEONE'S IN LOVE. But he said that there is something different about the previous Kale character.

"The current Kale is emotionally unstable, trying to open up new things that he is not ready for but forced to do so," said Ardhito Pramono during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (23/10).

1. There are similarities with Kale

Although there are some differences in the character of Kale, Ardhito Pramono said that there are actually many similarities between Kale's nature and his own. 

"When I see the similarities, they are actually in Ardhito too. There are many unstable emotions that Ardhito has. That's why when I saw myself smashing the lamp in the hotel in the trailer, I saw it as reflecting myself," said the singer of 'Fine Today'.

"Even the sadness is because I feel like I'm completely destroyed. Expressing myself like this has a lot in common with Ardhito that I felt a few years ago when I was searching for my identity to become the Ardhito I am now. So there are a lot of personal similarities in this character, Kale," he continued.

2. Falling More in Love with Acting

Because of portraying the character of Kale, Ardhito Pramono admitted that he is falling more in love with the world of acting. 

"Turns out I just discovered my emotional range in acting. It may seem the same, but the output of singing and playing music is different from the output of acting, where I can express myself in a crazy way, I can be anyone in acting, including being a very emotional Kale and being a very silent Kale," he revealed.

"Actually, I just want to keep going with whatever is in front of me, whether it's an album or acting in a film, but I have fallen in love with the character of Kale," he concluded.

The film, directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, will be available on the streaming service bioskoponline.com on October 23, 2020.
