Baby Niken Plays Antagonist Again in FTV with Lucky Alamsyah, Not Afraid of Being Hated by Netizens

Kapanlagi.com - The music industry, which has been slow during the pandemic, has made Baby Niken focus on expanding her career in acting. This time, she plays in an FTV titled Ratapan Buah Hati, which airs on Indosiar, alongside famous soap opera actor, Lucky Alamsyah.

This FTV is the first project taken by the woman from Palembang during the PPKM. The high number of COVID-19 cases made Baby Niken worried, especially since she still lives with her mother.

"In this FTV, I play the role of Ria, a beautiful and wealthy girl, while Lucky plays Karso, a poor guy who tries to mooch off my money and live off Ria. He gets kicked out by Ria and his life and his family's life become a mess," said Baby Niken when contacted recently.

1. Not Afraid to Be Hated

Getting another antagonist role, Baby Niken feels no difficulty. Previous antagonist roles made it easier for Baby Niken to portray the character of Ria. Although she has to deal with netizens who are influenced by her appearance.

"There is feedback from the role that I played, so they are angry at me. This means that my acting successfully stirs up the emotions of the audience. The acting that I have built is successful among soap opera and FTV lovers. So I don't hate them, it's funny that they get into the character that I have built," she continued.

2. Choose Acting or Singing?

When asked to choose between acting or singing, Baby Niken chooses to entertain the public with her voice. However, it does not mean that she is not serious about her acting career. She even has plans to be able to appear in movies.

"There is a direction towards that, but in the current situation, many production houses are not producing, I want the goal to be in that direction, even broader. Just see which one is more realistic, if there are many jobs to pursue acting, I will take it, but I prefer singing if I have to choose," she concluded.
