Not Money, Mathias Muchus Reveals 2 Reasons He Wants to be Involved in the Film 'AKAD'

Kapanlagi.com - A few years ago, the song Akad by Payung Teduh made waves on the internet. Now, the song that is often played at weddings is officially adapted into a feature film directed by Reka Wijaya. The film AKAD is set in Mandalika and stars a lineup of actors from different generations.

Among the actors involved, there is Mathias Muchus, whose reputation in the film industry is unquestionable. Despite his age, Mathias shows his high dedication and continues to work in the industry that has made his name famous.

"Because the song Akad is really good. When you hear the song, you can fall in love again," said Mathias Muchus during the release of the teaser for the film AKAD at the Wuling Motor Showroom in Senayan, Jakarta some time ago.

Mathias admitted that he wants to be involved in the film AKAD not because of money. Besides liking the song, the 64-year-old actor is also very interested in the choice of location.

"I want to be involved in this film, so I asked where the location is. It's in Lombok, in Mandalika, wow. Those are the two reasons why I want to be involved. Money is a different matter," he added.

In the film AKAD, Mathias plays a father who works as an online driver. Along with that, Mathias diligently looks for male passengers every day to be matched with his beloved daughter played by Indah Permatasari.

In addition to portraying romance and family drama, the film AKAD is also wrapped in comedy that will tickle the audience's hearts. The main soundtrack? Of course, the song Akad itself.
