Being the Child of a Wealthy Person, Stefan William Stars in the Newest Series Titled 'DEAR JO'

Kapanlagi.com - Stefan William is involved in the latest series airing on the Viu platform on January 22, 2024, titled DEAR JO. This series is adapted from the film DEAR JO: ALMOST IS NEVER ENOUGH which was released in mid-2023.

Stefan William, who plays Jo in this series, briefly talks about the character he portrays. Not only that, he also admits that there are several adjustments that need to be made in portraying his character.

"The story is about a wealthy child who wants to have their own business, work abroad, and not depend on their parents. They also want to find their own soulmate and eventually meet them," Stefan William said.

"Certainly, especially since this film is good for delving into the character, I will discuss it with the director and of course, it comes with great responsibility," he added.

1. Challenges When Deepening Characters

In addition, Stefan William admitted that he encountered some challenges in the process of deepening his character. However, he did not deny that there are some similarities between the character he played and himself.

"A little bit (similar), maybe the mischievousness, I have to really delve into it. (Difficulties) especially when there are scenes where I have to cry hysterically, it's hard to get it right," he said.

When asked further if the series DEAR JO relates to his real life, Stefan explained that the story of this series has no resemblance to his personal experiences.

"No. It's not related to personal experiences," said the former husband of Celine Evangelista.
