Chelsea Islan Admits to Being a Kind of Mental Disturbance in the Film 'SEBELUM IBLIS MENJEMPUT AYAT 2'

Kapanlagi.com - The film 'SEBELUM IBLIS MENJEMPUT AYAT 2' which will be released on February 27, 2020, makes Chelsea Islan, who plays Alfie, a more extreme character and a kind of mental disturbance. According to her, Alfie will transform into someone beyond expectations.

"Finally, 'SEBELUM IBLIS MENJEMPUT AYAT 2' after two years, because verse one was in 2018, finally returns as Alfie. This is also an extraordinary struggle because the character is really difficult to portray, not easy, because she is also very tough, stubborn, temperamental, emotional, and the news is also created like that," said Chelsea.

"Alfie becomes like a trigger, like a kind of mental disturbance, he has changed a lot from the first one. In the first one, he was still normal, still able to talk. But in the second one, he goes beyond the limits," she said during the release of the poster for 'Sebelum Iblis Menjemput Ayat 2' in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (5-2).

1. Need Extra Effort

Being an Alfie, acknowledged by Chelsea, requires extra effort. Especially in this sequel, there are many scenes that need to be done like action movies.

"Certainly, in this second verse, it drains energy, drains thoughts, physical and emotional. Because throughout this movie, horror movies have fear, screaming, running, but here it is far more extreme, because there are so many slings, like being thrown, slammed, lifted, so it's like a horror movie with action vibes," said Chelsea

2. Chelsea Portrays an Alfie

Chelsea's confidence in portraying an Alfie is tested in Timo's film. However, she remains confident that she can still develop her character.

"Well, maybe at the beginning it was like 'Oh, can I do it or not?', but because I have become Alfie in the first verse, I feel like I already know, so I just need to upgrade the basics," said Chelsea.

"So there are many challenges, and as Chelsea, who is not used to being Alfie, it requires a process. Because when people watch it later, it will be crazy," she concluded.
