Coming Soon to Theaters, the Film 'A BUSINESS PROPOSAL' is Expected to Receive Positive Responses from Audiences

Kapanlagi.com - Falcon Pictures officially held the Gala Premiere of the film A BUSINESS PROPOSAL at CGV Grand Indonesia. This film, adapted from the Webtoon novel by Hae Hwa, presents a romance story full of surprises wrapped in fresh humor ready to entertain audiences in Indonesia.

The gala premiere event was lively with the presence of main cast members such as Ariel Tatum, Caitlin Halderman, Ardhito Pramono, Abidzar Al-Ghifari, Indy Barends, Indro Warkop, Slamet Rahardjo, Fatih Unru, Willem Bevers, and comedian Yono Bakrie.

One highlight of this film is Abidzar Al-Ghifari's performance as Utama. Although he was doubted by netizens before the film's release, Abidzar managed to prove his acting ability on the big screen. He portrayed a strong character, bringing to life the cold yet gentle side of Utama behind his firmness.

Abidzar himself admitted that this experience has been a valuable lesson for him. He does not deny the criticisms that have come, but chooses to use them as motivation to continue growing.

Abidzar's performance also received appreciation from his fellow cast members. Ariel Tatum, who plays Sari, expressed her admiration for Abidzar. According to her, Abidzar was able to portray the main character very well.

"Honestly, I am very impressed with Abidzar's acting. He truly brought the main character to life with his expressions, intonation, and demeanor that fit perfectly," said Ariel Tatum.

"He can appear cold, but still has a soft side that makes this character relatable. I am sure the audience will also be captivated by his role," she added.

In line with Ariel, Caitlin Halderman also gave positive comments regarding Abidzar's performance. She realized that there are many comparisons between this film version and the previous adaptation, but Caitlin believes that each actor has their own interpretation in building the character.

"I know many people compare this film version to the previous adaptation. But I see Abidzar has succeeded in bringing a new color to the character Utama. He provides a different touch that makes this film feel fresh," she said.

This film produced by Falcon Pictures will be released in theaters starting February 6, 2025. A BUSINESS PROPOSAL tells the story of Sari (Ariel Tatum), a food analyst at Bowo Foods, who is forced to disguise herself as her friend, Yasmin (Caitlin Halderman), to attend a blind date.

Unexpectedly, her date is Utama (Abidzar Al-Ghifari), the heir to the company where Sari works, known for being disciplined and cold. Conflicts begin to arise when Utama, feeling pressured by his grandfather, Eyang Bowo (Slamet Rahardjo), to marry soon, asks Sari to pretend to be his girlfriend.

From here, various funny and romantic events unfold. Sari must work hard to hide her true identity as an employee of Bowo Foods while facing the increasingly complicated twists of a fake courtship.
