Two years later, Hitmaker Studios as the production house finally released the official trailer. In the two-minute trailer, the release date in all cinemas in Indonesia is revealed, which is on May 26, 2022.

Unlike the previous two films, THE DOLL 3 features dolls that cost two billion rupiah to make. Although made in Bali, it received supervision from experts who are experienced in the field of effects and animatronics from Switzerland and America.
Considering this fact, the horror film starring Jessica Mila becomes the first Indonesian film to use animatronics technique. The movement of the dolls truly resembles humans as machines are embedded in them.
THE DOLL 3 has no story connection with THE DOLL (2016), THE DOLL 2 (2017), and SABRINA (2018) except for the similarity of the theme. This third film highlights Tara, a young woman who is shocked by the suicide of her younger sibling named Gian.
In order to bring her sibling back, Tara seeks the help of a shaman to summon Gian's spirit and place it in a doll. However, over time, the sweet demeanor of the doll turns cruel because it is afraid that Tara will turn away from it.
