Fajar Nugraha Reveals His Mystical Experience During Filming of 'KKN DI DESA PENARI'

Kapanlagi.com - Filming a horror movie certainly presents various challenges for its actors. Fajar Nugraha, who played the character of Wahyu in the movie KKN DI DESA PENARI, also experienced it.

During the filming process, Fajar admitted that his biggest difficulty was with the language. As we know, the story of KKN DI DESA PENARI is taken from one of the regions in East Java that is rich in Javanese language.

"There was one thing, which was the language. I once got a scene that was full of Javanese language. Besides having to memorize the language, I also had to understand the meaning of the Javanese language. There was a scene that was very long and all in Javanese. The accent was also trained. So MD gave a kind of coach to maintain the dialect," Fajar said when chatting with KapanLagi.com recently.

As we know, before entering the world of acting, Fajar was a comedian. At the beginning of his acting career, he also played more in comedy films. It's no wonder that he had to adapt again when he had to do filming for a horror movie.

"From the comedy side, although there is a comedic part for Fajar in KKN Desa Penari, it's not as much as in his previous films. The difficulty lies in changing the comedy image from his previous films," explained Fajar.

2. Tissa Biani Had a Scary Experience

Shooting a horror movie is usually associated with mystical things. Apparently, some crew members on set also experienced it. Fajar revealed a little bit of the story to KapanLagi.com.

"Personally, I didn't experience it, but I witnessed it. So, Tissa Biani had a fever at night, and the next morning she invited us to have breakfast. When we were at the restaurant, she said that she had a scary experience last night and said, 'Many people don't like us shooting here.' That made us lose our appetite," Fajar concluded.

3. Synopsis of 'KKN DI DESA PENARI'

KKN DI DESA PENARI is based on a true story that went viral on Twitter. This film tells the story of 6 students who are doing KKN (Community Service Program) in a remote village that holds many mysteries and mystical stories.

The six students are Nur (Tissa Biani), Widya (Adinda Thomas), Ayu (Aghniny Haque), Bima (Achmad Megantara), Anton (Calvin Jeremy), and Wahyu (Fajar Nugraha). They never thought that the village they chose for their KKN program was not an ordinary village.

Pak Prabu, the village head, warned them not to cross the forbidden gate. Their KKN program slowly fell apart. It seems that the supernatural inhabitants of the village do not like their presence. Nur finally discovered that one of them broke the most fatal rule in the village. The terror of the mysterious dancer became even more frightening.
