Fanny Ghassani Claims She's Not Afraid of the Other World, But Panicked While Shooting This Scene in the Horror Film 'BEFORE 7 DAYS'

Directed by Awi Suryadi, this film presents a significant challenge for Fanny, especially because her role as a spirit named Anggun requires many extreme scenes.

One of the most challenging scenes for Fanny was when she had to shoot underwater while wrapped in a shroud without any dialogue. This experience became one of the toughest moments during the filming process.

"The difficult part was when I was submerged with the shroud, the panic occurred because I was afraid of drowning," said Fanny Ghassani when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (16/1/2025).

Fanny admitted that her panic was increasing because the shroud wrapping her body was equipped with weights so she could sink as needed for the scene. This made her even more worried about her safety.

"Because they added weights so I could sink, that's what makes me panic," she continued.

Fanny's tension also increased due to the fear that she might not be able to free herself from the shroud while in the water. She explained that the shroud wrapping her body limited her movement significantly.

"If completely wrapped in a shroud, I'm afraid I won't be able to get free. I was quite panicked there," she said while laughing as she recalled the experience.

Although this film is a horror genre, Fanny actually feels more afraid of the physical risks than the scary elements. "The fear isn't about the other world, but more about whether I can save myself in the water," she added.

Due to the panic she experienced, Fanny had to go through several takes to achieve the results desired by the director. However, she still tried her best to make the scene look perfect.

The film 'Before 7 Days' produced by MD Pictures is scheduled to be released in theaters starting January 23, 2025. In addition to Fanny Ghassani, this film also stars several other actors and actresses such as Agla Artalidia, Anantya Kirana, Sultan Hamonangan, Haydar Salishz, and Aksara Dena.
