The film OZORA is confirmed to expand its screening reach to international markets. This collaborative work by Umbara Brother Films will be shown in cinemas in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam in January 2026. This confirmation was announced during the signing session of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Friday (28/11/2025).
The decision to bring OZORA to the Southeast Asian market emerged while the film, starring Muzakki Ramdhan and Chicco Jerikho, was still in the production stage. This step proves that the major theme raised by this film, namely the struggle of families of victims of brutal abuse, has broad relevance in various countries.
In a press conference, director and producer Anggy Umbara revealed that cooperation with the Malaysian side had been established since the early stages of production.
"We have been collaborating, so Dbay Film Factory has become an associate producer for one of our films, especially OZORA, and there are two more films coming up," said Anggy when met in the Epicentrum area, South Jakarta, on Friday (28/11).
