First! Iko Uwais Portrays a Game Character, Becomes the Star of 'Mobile Legends: Bang Bang' Directed by Timo Tjahjanto

Kapanlagi.com - After Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) announced the participation of Iko Uwais and Al Ghazali in the short film project Winter Clash, many MLBB fans can't wait to see their acting in the short film directed by Timo Tjahjanto (Timobros), a popular Indonesian director who has produced many popular films in Indonesia.

Today, MLBB finally released the film Winter Clash, which can be watched directly on YouTube Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Indonesia. This 5-minute film depicts an exciting battle between 2 legendary MLBB heroes, Chou and Gusion, who want to showcase their fighting skills. The battle lasts until Angela, another MLBB hero, comes to reconcile them.
 
In this film, Timo Tjahjanto (Timobros) collaborated with Iko Uwais and Al Ghazali, who played the iconic heroes Chou and Gusion. Both actors have starred in many popular films in Indonesia and are sure to bring the characters of Chou and Gusion from the gaming world to the film.

"The opportunity to collaborate with MLBB is very interesting. In terms of production, this is the best advertisement I have ever worked on," said Timo Tjahjanto, director of the MLBB Winter Clash short film.
 
"For the concept of this film itself, I want to depict what users feel when playing the game in this short film, and I hope all MLBB users in Indonesia can feel the same," he continued.

"Shooting experience for this MLBB Winter Clash project is very memorable, " said Iko Uwais, Actor playing Chou. "This is the first time I played a game character and I was surprised to see the size of the gaming ecosystem and the enthusiasm of MLBB fans. I feel honored to be chosen to play Chou. I hope this film can entertain all Mobile Legends: Bang Bang users, " he continued.

"Gusion is one of my favorite heroes in MLBB and I'm really proud to play that character, " said Al Ghazali, Actor playing Gusion.

"I'm also grateful because there are so many experiences that can be gained from this project, from seniors like Mas Timo and Bang Iko. As one of the loyal MLBB players, I also believe that MLBB will bring many new breakthroughs in the near future. I will definitely continue to play MLBB, " said Al.

2. Winter Gala Series

This Sci-Fi themed film combines the closely related MLBB game elements and is still part of the 2020 Winter Gala event held by MLBB.

"Winter Clash is the first short film that combines real-life action and Computer Generated Image (CGI) created by MLBB. We are very happy with the result and hope that MLBB fans can enjoy this short film," said Aswin Atonie, Brand Director of Moonton Indonesia.

"Working with Timo Tjahjanto, Iko Uwais, and Al Ghazali is an honor for us, and Timo successfully combines the elements of the MLBB game into this short film so that we can feel the same emotions as when playing MLBB," he added.
