Graduating from College, Iqbaal Ramadhan Produces Film 'PERAYAAN MATI RASA' Directed by Umay Shahab

Kapanlagi.com - Iqbaal Ramadhan has just graduated with a degree in communication after three and a half years of education at Monash University Melbourne. Not long after graduating, Iqbaal immediately joined the film project PERAYAAN MATI RASA.

Not only as an actor, Iqbaal also acted as a producer in the film by Umay Shahab. So, what made this 24-year-old actor want to work with Umay and Sinemaku Pictures production house?

"The main reason why I finally joined Sinemaku Pictures is because Umay is the result of the regeneration of young directors in Indonesia and in my opinion, people like Umay should be given full support. I want to be someone who can see that and can facilitate Umay's contribution to Indonesian films," said Iqbaal when met at Gandaria City, South Jakarta, Wednesday (10/1).

Considering his position as a producer and director, of course Iqbaal Ramadhan has had many discussions with Umay Shahab. The intensity of working together makes him experience the joys and sorrows of working with a friend.

"This is something that I just realized, that working together with a friend has its ups and downs. Because we have been friends for a long time and as we grow older, with a similar childhood background," explained Iqbaal.

In the film project PERAYAAN MATI RASA, Umay Shabab not only acted as a director. Thanks to Iqbaal Ramadhan's insistence, he also became an actor.

"I joined the cast because of Iqbaal Ramadhan. He forced me, saying he didn't want me if I didn't join," said Umay on the same occasion.
