Morgan Oey's Dream to Act with Acha Septriasa Finally Comes True

Kapanlagi.com - Morgan Oey's dream of acting in a film with Acha Septriasa has finally come true. Yes, Morgan and Acha were chosen to be the main stars in the film SUAMI YANG LAIN. Morgan revealed that one of his goals for this year was to act alongside Acha Septriasa.

"Honestly, this is my bucket list that was achieved this year, being able to act with Acha and I'm really happy because during the workshop, we really dissected the script, Cha," said Morgan when met at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (26/12).

1. Frequently Send DMs to Acha

Previously, Morgan Oey and Acha Septriasa admired each other, although they had never worked together before. This former SMASH member even frequently sent direct messages (DMs) to Acha.

"Well, I'm a newcomer in the film industry, but we have always appreciated each other since 2018, even though we have never worked on a project together. We always DM each other and hopefully we can work together someday," said Morgan.

2. Didn't Expect to Act in a Family Drama

Morgan Oey was surprised that his collaboration project with Acha Septriasa was a complex family drama. "Because it turns out, this is not only the first time I work with Acha, but it is also my first serious family drama," exclaimed Morgan.

SUAMI YANG LAIN is the latest film from Bawana Entertainment, directed by John de Rantau. This film features several actors such as Morgan Oey, Acha Septriasa, Omar Daniel, Alex Abbad, Samuel Rizal, and Anya Geraldine. The film is scheduled to premiere on January 4, 2024, in cinemas throughout Indonesia.
