Kapanlagi.com - One of the prestigious film festivals in Asia, Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF), has been held from November 27, 2021, until December 4, 2021. In this event, one film title has attracted attention, namely PERJALANAN PERTAMA directed by Arief Malinmudo.
This achievement certainly makes Arief very proud. He hopes that the film he worked on can be better known by a wider audience and become an inspiration for other filmmakers to continue producing their best works.
"We are delighted that PERJALANAN PERTAMA is invited to a prestigious festival in Asia, hopefully it can color the variety of Asian films that carry the energy of Tenacity, as the theme of JAFF this year," said Arief in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

THE FIRST JOURNEY is a film about a grandson and his grandfather who are on a journey. The grandson is played by child actor from Indonesia, Muzakki Ramdhan, while the grandfather is played by the legendary veteran actor from Malaysia, Dato Tamimi Siregar.
The film A JOURNEY OF LOVE can be considered as a 'marriage' between 2 countries, namely Indonesia and Malaysia. In addition to featuring actors from these two neighboring countries, this film also presents a collaboration between Mahakarya Pictures and the Malaysian production house, D Ayu Pictures.

In addition to the aforementioned names, THE FIRST JOURNEY is also filled with other popular actors, such as Adinda Thomas, Randy Pangalila, Gilang Dirga, and Ricky Komo. This film is scheduled to be released nationwide in February 2022.

Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) is one of the prestigious and recognized film festivals in Asia. This festival was initially initiated by filmmaker Garin Nugroho and his friends with the hope of creating an international film festival that focuses on Asia.
JAFF itself was first held in 2006. They collaborated with NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) as a partner. NETPAC is an organization based in Sri Lanka that connects critics, filmmakers, curators, festival organizers, exhibitors, and film enthusiasts from 30 countries in Asia.
