Jakarta International Community Choir (JICC) Successfully Held the 8th Musical 'Basinga!'

Kapanlagi.com - Who here enjoys watching musical performances? One of the quite popular ones is the Jakarta International Community Choir (JICC). This community was established in 2006, serving as a platform for singing, dancing, and laughing together for local residents and expatriates. This community is a non-audition, non-commercial arts community that is inclusive for all who love the performing arts, regardless of age, race, background, and experience in singing/dancing/acting.

JICC consistently presents independently produced performances at least once a year. These performances are dedicated by JICC to friends, family, and close relatives of its members. Some titles that have been staged include “Alice in Wonderland,” “The Addams Family,” “Sooper Dooper Trooper (ABBA),” “Welcome to the Bleh Bleh Bleh (Hotel Transylvania),” “Basinga! The Zoom Musical,” “Out of The Shadows,” and “Wow! It’s Fantabulous,” and many more.

During the pandemic, JICC remained productive by releasing various digital content such as online musicals and mini showcases in cinemas.

“Basinga!” is JICC's 8th musical production that successfully took place on Saturday, November 16, 2024. This musical tells the story of Bamboo who holds a talent search to preserve the theater inherited from her father. Bamboo will be accompanied by fun friends like Mrs. Guana, Pinky, Gori, Jett, and Summer.
