Manoj Punjabi Says the Story in the Movie 'KKN DI DESA PENARI' Will be Exactly the Same as the Story in the Social Media Version and the Book

Kapanlagi.com - MD Pictures together with Pichouse Films finally released the Official Poster and Official Trailer for their latest horror film titled KKN DI DESA PENARI. Previously, they released a teaser poster and trailer which has been viewed more than 3.5 million times.

Indeed, this film is one of the most anticipated films, as it is based on a story that has spread and gone viral on social media from a man known as Simpleman. It tells the terrifying story of two women based on their real-life experiences.

According to Manoj Punjabi, the story of the film KKN DI DESA PENARI will be the same as the story in the social media version and the book. He even mentioned that when adapting this story for the big screen, there is no need to change the entire story.

"I think I will be very relatable to the original story because we adjust it to Simpleman's vision from Twitter to a book," said Manoj Punjabi, the producer, when met at MD Pictures, Setia Budi, South Jakarta, on Friday (21/2) afternoon.

"When I heard the story and heard it on YouTube, there were indeed many versions and I said this story doesn't need to be changed anymore, just make it into a film. Just follow the storyline, no need to tidy it up again, no need to dramatize it anymore, so we just follow the flow of the story and beautify it," he continued.

Not only that, when the news about the story of KKN DI DESA PENARI (KKN IN THE DANCER VILLAGE) being filmed became more booming, Manoj admitted that he received various responses from netizens. Many fans of this story requested various scenes in the story to be visualized.

"There are many responses and many requests for scenes like a pilgrimage scene, a kissing scene, and many more to be included. I think it's very interesting, so we accept input like that from fans, I think 'oh, so this is what fans of this story want' and we finally come to an interesting conclusion for this film," he said.
