Melly Goeslaw Proudly Donates Soundtrack 'Bakti' for the Film 'KADET 1947'

Kapanlagi.com - The song titled Bakti performed by musician Anneth Delliecie as the original soundtrack for the film KADET 1947 has finally been released. As the songwriter, Melly Goeslaw expressed her pride in being trusted to write it.

Usually writing songs for romance film soundtracks, Anto Hoed's wife admitted that she felt challenged and had a new experience. Moreover, the song indirectly can foster a sense of nationalism, especially among millennials.

"I am very proud of this. Because I can prove to all musicians, teach Anneth, and others, that to love this country, we don't always have to be someone, I can love this country through the song Bakti," said Melly Goeslaw on Wednesday (22/9).

Encountered at Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, the launch event of the original soundtrack was also attended by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir. In fact, it turns out that Erick Thohir also played a role in the creation of the song Bakti.

"I'm afraid that many young generations of Indonesians are far from our history. But also, the nationalistic songs are outdated. At that time, specifically, I asked Teh Melly 'how can we find nationalism that is close to their generation' thank you, this is an extraordinary song," said Erick Thohir.

The film, produced by Temata Studios, Screenplay Films, and Legacy Pictures, was originally scheduled to be released in August 2020 to celebrate the 75th Indonesian Independence Day.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the film, which received support from the Indonesian National Army (TNI), especially the Air Force (AU), only started production in early March 2020.

The film CADET 1947 stars actors who are already familiar to Indonesian film enthusiasts, such as Baskara Mahendra, Wafda Saifan, Kevin Julio, Ajil Ditto, Chicco Kurniawan, Samo Rafael, Fajar Nugra, Ibnu Jamil, Ario Bayu, Lutesha, Mike Lucock, Indra Paciq, and many more.
