Starting from this concern, Tommy wants to present a main character who can thwart the devil's plans to destroy human life. "It's back to what we are actually experiencing. There is a certain power that they (the demons) have for specific interests, but they are colluding here to resurrect the devil. "Of course, as a foundation for horror films, the scary element is still there. But because his (Tommy Dewo) works are known for always having action elements, like THE LAST WOLF and JUST QUEEN, he wants the female protagonist to be able to slice through demons. (So the protagonist) isn't just a character who gets scared (and then) can only defeat the demons later." Wicky stated while attending a press conference on Tuesday (18/03).

Among the cast of PENJAGAL IBLIS: DOSA TURUNAN, Satine Zaneta and Naomi Christy admitted that this film is their first horror feature film project. In making the film, the daughter of renowned actors Abimana Aryastya and Inong Ayu, who plays the character Ningrum, had to face new challenges in the acting world.

"(Acting as Ningrum) is not pressure, (but) more like a challenge for me. Because I really started from zero learning all the choreography as well to look tough and 'badass', like Mr. Tommy's vision." Satine expressed when asked about her impressions of the shooting process she had to go through.

Not only Satine, Naomi, who usually acts in the drama genre, also faced unfamiliar obstacles when taking on a role for PENJAGAL IBLIS: DOSA TURUNAN. Physically, she stated that she and her fellow actors needed to prepare physically for about two months for the choreography and other technical needs in the film.

"In terms of emotions, the challenge is indeed there. Because (in this film) the emotions are intense, I (have to) be able to bring the feelings of fear and eeriness." Naomi said.

Ningrum (Satine Zaneta), a 19-year-old girl, is confined in a mental hospital due to alleged delusions after killing a family who was performing an exorcism on her child with the help of a cleric. This news leads a journalist named Daru (Marthino Lio) to be assigned to visit and interview Ningrum.

During the interview, Ningrum claims that she is a devil's butcher who has entered the human world. According to her confession, the family she killed were demons manipulated by Pakunjara (Niken Anjani) to resurrect the leader of a devil-worshipping sect.

Daru, who has already become trapped in this situation, has no other choice. He must help Ningrum confront Pakunjara and the demons that will also be resurrected. The story of the battle between Ningrum and Pakunjara will be spiced up with puzzles that test logic and faith.
