Playing Aurora in the Film 'NKCTHI', Sheila Dara Aisha Feels Many Similarities with the Character Awan

Kapanlagi.com - Sheila Dara Aisha is involved in the latest film directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, NANTI KITA CERITA TENTANG HARI INI (NKCTHI). She plays the character Aurora, who is the sister of the character Awan played by Rachel Amanda.

When met in the Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta, recently, Sheila admitted that she feels like Awan, the main character. Although she is the second child of three siblings just like Aurora, she feels more treated like the youngest child, similar to Awan in her own family.

"The similarity might be that we both can have our own world amidst the crowd, but honestly, in my own family, I feel like Awan. Because I am the middle child, my family is more protective since I’m the only girl, so I feel more like the character Awan," Sheila Dara expressed.

1. The Character of the Middle Child

Sheila revealed that Aurora is the middle child of three siblings. According to her, this makes Aurora's character feel confused.

"Maybe because Aurora is the type of middle child in a family of three. In families with three children, a lot of attention tends to fall on the youngest child, and responsibility on the oldest, so the middle one often feels confused," she said.

2. A Quite Difficult Character

Sheila revealed that the character she portrays is someone who is accomplished but does not receive enough attention from her parents. She also admitted that her character is quite difficult and challenging to portray because it relies more on gestures and facial expressions to convey feelings.

"Well, Aurora often achieves accomplishments but feels rarely appreciated by her family. So she is used to suppressing her feelings until she eventually feels envious, which is quite difficult because there are many emotions that are bottled up. I have to express what Aurora feels through her facial expressions and gestures," she added.
