Scheduled for January 13, 2022, Film 'TRAH 7' Releases Mysterious Poster

Kapanlagi.com - Another film by local talent will soon be screened in theaters in the homeland. Titled TRAH 7, a film produced by DLK Production will greet horror film fans on January 13, 2022.

Starring young actors Kevin Torstin, Chantiq Schagerl, and Surya R Kusumah as well as seasoned actor Gary Iskak, TRAH 7 officially released its poster on Friday, (24/12/2021). Through its poster, TRAH 7 tries to convey a different visual without showing the faces of the actors.

This is done to create a sense of curiosity for those who see it. However, it still emphasizes aesthetics and conveys messages implicitly through verbal signs.

"I wanted to create a poster that is different from the usual posters of Indonesian horror films. Many of those posters use the faces of the actors or scenes from the film itself, which are placed on the graphic poster to depict the intensity of the story in the film," said Diana Limbong, Executive Producer after the official launch of the TRAH 7 poster in Jakarta, Friday (24/12).

The visual concept of the TRAH 7 poster depicts another entity world penetrating or contaminating the real world through the appearance of a hand claw penetrating a wall with dark color and dull texture, with a slight glimpse of the entity's face.

"I created the poster for the TRAH 7 film as a response to the many horror film poster styles that are emerging in Indonesia today," said Doni Ardyanto, the graphic designer of the TRAH 7 poster.

2. Creating Curiosity

As for the font of the title and the list of cast and crew, the choice of type and composition is not only part of the aesthetics of the poster itself, but also serves as a reinforcement of the film genre.

"In this poster, we want to show that the depiction of horror in a horror film can take various forms," said Kicky Herlambang, Line Producer of TRAH 7.

"I hope that with this film poster, filmmakers will be encouraged to create more diverse film posters so that our horror film industry can attract the curiosity of not only horror film enthusiasts in Indonesia but also internationally," concluded Kicky Herlambang.
