Experiencing Possession Scene in Horror Movie 'MAKMUM 2', Titi Kamal Hung Using a Sling - Screaming Until Losing Her Voice

Kapanlagi.com - Titi Kamal is involved in the horror film MAKMUM 2 directed by Guntur Soeharjanto. Compared to her first film, Titi admitted to doing many challenging things.

One example is when she was filming on Mount Papandayan. At four in the morning in the midst of a scorching cold atmosphere, she had to act possessed using a sling rope.

"I shot that scene (possession) on Mount Papandayan at four in the morning. My body was hanging using a sling, and I had to scream until my voice ran out," said Titi Kamal when met in the Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, last Thursday evening.

During the possession scene shooting, Titi Kamal wore a thin costume. While waiting for the filming to start, she wore a thick jacket to prevent herself from getting sick.

"At four in the morning, I had to stay on, while the temperature there was twelve degrees and I was wearing thin clothes. The atmosphere was cold to the bones after the rain. So, while waiting for the take, I wore a very thick jacket. But it was fun, so it was an experience," said the wife of Christian Sugiono.

2. Burdened by the Success of the First Film

Titi Kamal admitted that she needed to think a lot before accepting the offer to be involved in MAKMUM 2. Considering the first film was quite successful, even appreciated in Malaysia, she felt a little burdened.

"At first, I felt burdened, but when I read the story, it turned out to be very well-developed. All the characters and actors are really good. I lost all my worries, so now I'm optimistic," she added.

MAKMUM 2 itself will be screened in cinemas throughout Indonesia on December 30th. Before that, the official trailer with a duration of two minutes and fourteen seconds was released to arouse the curiosity of the audience.

In the trailer, the character Rini played by Titi Kamal has developed a lot. The setting of the story has also become wider, previously it was a school, now it becomes a remote village.

Although the film MAKMUM was successful as Titi Kamal's horror debut, when offered to be involved in the sequel, she didn't immediately agree. The wife of actor Christian Sugiono needs to think carefully first.

"Honestly, I always think deeper when offered a horror film. Even though I have starred in previous films, I ask for time to delve into the script. Before finally accepting to appear in this horror film," said Titi quoted from a WhatsApp message received by KapanLagi.com.

5. Meeting the Ghost Makmum Again

MAKMUM 2 tells the story of Rini who is mourning the death of her husband. Together with her only child, she decides to return to her hometown.

While in the village, Rini's child mysteriously disappears. This makes the woman once again bound to the ghost makmum that almost took her life years ago.
