Kapanlagi.com - Renowned producer Mira Lesmana has finally provided the latest update regarding the film RANGGA & CINTA. This film is one of the most anticipated this year as it is a remake of the legendary ADA APA DENGAN CINTA? (2002).
"The shooting process has been completed, and we are now in the post-production phase, editing the footage and adding music with Melly Goeslaw and Anto Hoed," said Mira Lesmana when met at the Meet and Greet event for the film Rangga & Cinta at Rumah Indofood, Jakarta Fair Kemayoran, Friday (20/6/2025).

On the same occasion, Mira also shared the biggest challenge faced during the production of this film. It was not about the location or technical shooting, but rather the process of finding the right cast.
"Because we can't just look for one person who can really act, sing, and dance, but in this film, we are also looking for an ensemble cast," she revealed.

Mira explained that building chemistry among the cast, especially the members of the Cinta gang, takes a considerable amount of time and is not an easy process.
"Where there is a gang called Cinta, the chemistry must match, it takes quite a long time to brew," added Mira seriously.
The Meet and Greet was also attended by the young actresses who portray the Cinta gang. They are Leya Princy as Cinta, Daniella Tumiwa (Karmen), Katyana Mawira (Milly), Kyandra Sembel (Maura), and Jasmine Nadya (Alya).
These cast members feel very fortunate to be part of this major project directed by Riri Riza. Moreover, they also get to learn directly from people who have long been involved in the film industry.
"I'm so happy to be taught directly by Ms. Mira, Mr. Riri, Mr. Nicholas Saputra, I met many people working in different fields for the same purpose," said Leya enthusiastically.
Interestingly, almost all the main cast in this film are new faces making their big-screen debut through RANGGA & CINTA. They were selected through a long audition process from April to September 2024 in a hybrid format.
The film RANGGA & CINTA is produced by Miles Films and is scheduled to be released in theaters this year. In addition to Mira and Riri, Nicholas Saputra and Toto Prasetyanto are also involved as producers in this film project.
