Cinta Laura Refutes Accusations of Being Staged, Admits She Has Never Sold Sensation

"Yes, I have never sold sensation. Everything I do has a purpose and a message," said Cinta Laura when met in South Jakarta, Tuesday (3/6/2025).

Cinta admitted that she is not bothered by the negative assumptions often directed at her. She chooses to focus on her work and activities that she believes are beneficial to the wider community, rather than responding to negative comments.

"I know who I am, and I know what I stand for. So if someone says I'm staged, that's their business," she asserted.

2. Actively Voice Women's Issues

All this time, Cinta is known for actively voicing women's issues, education, and even environmental concerns. She feels her mission as a public figure is not just to look beautiful or go viral, but to bring about real change.

"For me, popularity is not a goal, but a tool. If it can be used for positive things, why not?" she stated.

Cinta also regrets the celebrity culture that loves to create sensationalism for the sake of existence. She believes such strategies will not last long and can damage an artist's reputation.

"I don't want to be known for drama. I want to be known for my contributions. That is what is more important to me," she expressed.

"I believe smart people can tell the difference between what is sincere and what is fabricated. And I believe, integrity will always prevail in the end," she said.

He also added that a long career should be built on a healthy reputation, not just fleeting virality.

"Yes, I don’t want to be famous now but be ruined in five years. I am building this career with patience and good intentions," he said.

6. Hoping the Public Can Be Critical

With all that, Cinta hopes the public can be more critical in assessing public figures and not easily provoked by unfounded gossip.

"I want to be an example that you can succeed without being sensational. Just be yourself, honest, and work hard," concluded Cinta Laura.
