FTV actor Muhammad Abdul Qodir Jailani, affectionately known as Indra Jaylani, has been buried at the Menteng Pulo Public Cemetery in South Jakarta on Friday (13/6/2025).
One of the friends who attended and accompanied the deceased was Dera Siagian, who is known to the public through a talent search event as Dera Idol.
Dera admitted to knowing Indra for a long time and cherishing many memories during their careers in the entertainment world. She didn't expect Indra's departure to happen so quickly and unexpectedly.
"From the very first talent search, it has been a long time. After that, there has been no news. But, there was news about being sick," Dera revealed at TPU Menteng Pulo, South Jakarta, Friday (13/6/2025).
The news of the illness that Dera received made her want to visit her friend. However, due to her busy schedule and the timing not being right, that intention has yet to be realized.
"I was shocked, I thought I would have time to visit. But there was no time. I was quite shocked, yes. Because it was relatively close," he said.
For Dera, Indra's departure is not just the loss of a friend. She feels as if she has been left by her own younger sibling. "Yes, we were close. Like a younger brother," she said.
The late Indra's father, Panji, explained that the initial symptoms of his son's illness seemed mild. However, Indra's condition deteriorated rapidly.
Despite various efforts being made, Indra's condition did not improve. After refusing surgery for two days, the family finally decided to take Indra home.
Indra Jaylani took his last breath at home on Thursday afternoon, June 12, 2025, at 16:51 WIB. His departure leaves sorrow for his family and close friends.
