Soon to be Released, Arbani Yasiz and Amanda Rawles Reveal the Difficult Challenges When Filming 'Ranah 3 Warna'

One of them is a film titled Ranah 3 Warna by Guntur Soeharjanto, adapted from the bestselling novel by Ahmad Fuadi. Many fans of the Alif Fikri trilogy have been asking about it on social media.

This is because the film was originally scheduled to be released in July 2020. However, due to the pandemic, the film had to be postponed. Many fans are curious about this film that is filled with positive meanings.

"This is a story about someone who has tried their best, who has done everything they can, but has not succeeded yet. Patience is needed, as Man Shabara Zhafira. It is highly related to the current situation amidst the pandemic," said Guntur in a recent interview with journalists.

The story in the film Ranah 3 Warna shows that patience is not just surrendering without any solution.

"Patience is actively seeking a solution. That's what Alif Fikri, the central character in this film, wants to show," added Guntur.

2. Actors Face Many Challenges

In addition to having an inspirational story, the film Ranah 3 Warna also presents many challenges for its actors. Take Amanda Rawles, for example, who plays the character Raisa, a critical journalist.

"As a journalist, there is a perception, and what's quite challenging is that I have to be able to perform Minang dance and learn French, it's quite difficult," said Amanda with a smile.

3. Main Character's Opinion

Arbani Yasiz also had his own challenges in portraying Alif in the film Ranah 3 Warna. As the main character, almost 90 percent of his role is in the film.

"This is the first time I got a Minang accent character, even though I'm not Minang, I'm from Medan and Palembang, it's really different," said Arbani.

The film Ranah 3 Warna is directed by Guntur Soeharjanto and adapted from the bestselling novel by Ahmad Fuadi with the same title. In addition to Amanda Rawles and Arbani Yasiz, the film also stars young actor Teuku Rassya.
