"I think I actually cried during the big reading. Because the dialogues were already voiced by Mbak Ina and Mas Bucek. So it felt really alive," explained Amanda during the KapanLagi Show recently.
"When I read during the big reading, I started to cry quite a bit from... I’m afraid I’ll spoil it. But from the middle to the end, definitely. It was quite a bit," she added.
Furthermore, Amanda apparently imagined what her mother's life would be like if she hadn't met her father.
"When I imagine what my mother's life would really be like. Then suddenly it feels like I’m back to my real mom at home," said the actress born in Jakarta on August 25, 2000.
"Like oh my God, yes it turns out that mom could have a different life. Not that it's bad now but I'm just curious about it," added Amanda.
When offered to act in this film, Amanda immediately felt a chill, especially when she learned the title. "I immediately told my dad I felt chills. I said like wow this feels really close. Maybe the situation is different. But I often question this to myself as well," said the wife of Adriel Susanteo.
She suddenly remembered her own mother's sacrifices. "If Mom didn't marry Dad, what would her life be like? So sometimes I know Mom must have made a lot of sacrifices for her children. So I often ask questions like that," said Amanda.
"That's why I feel relatable. That's why I feel like just from the title, I already want to, sir," concluded Amanda.
