Thanks to the 'LOVE DADDY' Series, Ariyo Wahab, Imam Darto, and Ferry Maryadi Finally Experience the Difficulty of Raising Children

Kapanlagi.com - Ferry Maryadi, Ariyo Wahab, and Imam Darto finally experience the difficulty of being a father figure in the latest series titled Love Daddy. In this series, the three of them are portrayed as having their own children.

For Imam Darto, the story in this series is able to represent the feelings of a father figure. According to him, a father always has concerns in raising children.

“The worries in this series hopefully can represent fathers out there. We, as fathers, have many concerns that need to be considered,” said Imam Darto in a press conference for the Love Daddy series at Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/5) afternoon.

“Hopefully, it can relate to the concerns out there,” he added.

1. Rare Genre

On the same occasion, Ariyo Wahab mentioned that his character in this film reflects a father's caring nature towards his child. For him, perhaps most fathers want to express their concern.

"It can be said that I consider this as a father who cares about his child. That's what we want to convey here," said Aryo Wahab.

Ariyo Wahab also added that films with a storyline about the relationship between father and child can be said to be rare in Indonesia.

"This genre of film is still rarely seen, usually we see family films about mother and child issues, this one is about father and child," he concluded.

2. Complex Roles

In this series, Ariyo Wahab, Ferry Maryadi, and Imam Darto are portrayed as friends in the same motorcycle gang. Ariyo Wahab plays the character of David, a widower with a daughter named Puspa, played by Chantiq Schagerl.

David is portrayed as being very protective of Puspa, which makes his daughter feel suffocated.

Imam Darto plays the character of Donny, a father with a daughter named Cinta, played by Sintya Marisca. Unlike most girls, Cinta is portrayed as a tomboy who loves automotive.

Then, Ferry Maryadi plays Tata, a father to a son named Rama, played by Kevin Leonardo. Unlike the other two friends, Tata has a feminine nature, which is also inherited by his son.
