Umay Shahab's Girlfriend Named Inarah Syarafina Makes Directorial Debut in Horror Film 'TEMURUN'

Kapanlagi.com - Inarah Syarafina is the girlfriend of actor and director Umay Shahab. Through the Sinemaku Pictures production house's Sinemaku Day 2024 event, Inarah was announced to make her directorial debut in a feature film.

The film is a horror suspense genre titled TEMURUN, based on a screenplay by Vontian Suwandi. It stars Bryan Domani and Yasamin Jasem as the main cast.

Being behind the scenes of a film is not new for Inarah Syarafina. Previously, she was an assistant director for the film KUKIRA KAU RUMAH. When entrusted to become a director, Inarah admitted that she was surprised but also happy.

"I already knew that Sinemaku Pictures would make a horror film and I was quite shocked when I was appointed as the director. Wow! They really support the new generation in the film industry. Me and Vontian, and behind TEMURUN there are many young people who are supervised by seniors," said Inarah when met at Gandaria City, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/1/2024).

2. Mewarisi Hal Tak Diinginkan

The screenplay for the film TEMURUN was written by Vontian Suwandi, who is the eldest son of senior actress Ivanka Suwandi. This film tells the story of someone who inherits something they didn't expect.

"TEMURUN tells the story of someone who is forced to inherit something unwanted. The word Temurun is taken from the phrase 'Turun Temurun' (from generation to generation). I think everyone can relate because we all inherit something, whether it's talent or debt, from our parents or ancestors, ha ha ha," said Inarah jokingly.

TEMURUN will start the shooting process in a few days. If there are no obstacles, this first horror project from Sinemaku Pictures will be released in theaters this year.
