Zoe Abbas Jackson's Story of Initially Being Insecure in Portraying Nike Ardilla, Considered the Most Challenging Project in Her Career

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Zoe Abbas Jackson tells the story of initially lacking confidence when asked to portray the character of Nike Ardilla in Nike Ardilla the Series. The reason, of course, is because of the late Nike Ardilla's big name in the music world.

"Suddenly offered this series, at first I didn't want to take it, didn't even think about taking it because it was very challenging and outside of my comfort zone, I portrayed a character that once existed," said Zoe Abbas when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (24/10/2023).

In addition, Zoe Abbas admitted that she cannot sing. Meanwhile, if she has to portray the character of Nike Ardilla, there will certainly be some scenes that require her to sing.

"One of the personal challenges for me is probably the concert scenes because obviously I'm not a singer, I can't sing at all," said Zoe Abbas.

Nevertheless, Zoe Abbas finally accepted the offer and spent six months immersing herself in the character. That's why the series became the heaviest project in Zoe Abbas' career.

"This is the heaviest project in my career, lots of tears, lots of weight loss, this project is really heavy," she concluded.

2. The Untold Story

In Nike Ardilla The Series, it will feature The Untold Story of the journey of the career, friendship, and love of The Legend, R. Rr. Nike Ratnadilla, who is more familiarly known as Nike Ardilla.

This biographical drama series will start with how this Indonesian lady rocker began her career in the entertainment world, and see her career rise. Along with the increasing popularity, challenges in terms of career, family, and love also arise.

Nike Ardilla the Series will be divided into 2 parts, with Part 1 consisting of 3 episodes and Part 2 consisting of 6 episodes. The Nike Ardilla series can already be watched through the STRO application on October 27, 2023.
