The next post-apocalyptic action film series from the creators of MAD MAX, George Miller and Byron Kennedy, titled FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA, is scheduled to be released on May 24, 2024. MAD MAX has had a significant influence on popular culture, especially in post-apocalyptic fiction. This film series tells the adventures of Max Rockatansky, a police officer in future Australia where social collapse occurs due to conflict and extreme scarcity of natural resources.
