Chris Pratt Reunites with the Russo Brothers in 'SAIGON BODYGUARDS'

Kapanlagi.com - Chris Pratt will apparently work with the Russo Brothers again. The directors of the film AVENGERS: ENDGAME, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo (commonly known as the Russo Brothers), will remake the Vietnamese action-comedy film SAIGON BODYGUARDS. The Vietnamese version of the film SAIGON BODYGUARD was released in 2016. The film tells the story of two friends who work as bodyguards and must work together to find their missing employer.

In addition to Chris Pratt, martial artist actor Wu Jing has also been chosen to star in this remake. Wu Jing is known for his appearance in the action film WOLF WARRIOR. The Russo Brothers apparently had a role in WOLF WARRIOR 2, so they chose Wu Jing to join their latest project. Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck have been appointed to write the screenplay for this film. They are famous for their work on the animated comedy series KING OF THE HILL.

1. The Right Choice

Chris Pratt is the right choice for the Russo Brothers. They have worked together in AVENGERS: ENDGAME. Chris Pratt played Star-Lord, a funny and careless superhero who always jokes around. Chris Pratt's appearance in the film apparently captivated the Russo Brothers and they wanted to cast him.

Moreover, the Vietnamese version of SAIGON BODYGUARDS tells the story of two bodyguards who fail to protect their employer due to their negligence. The search for their employer is always filled with laughter, making Chris Pratt suitable for this film.

2. No Release Date Yet

Until now, the remake of SAIGON BODYGUARDS has not determined its release date. It seems that they have not found actors for other roles yet. Currently, Chris Pratt has just finished filming JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION. In that film, Chris Pratt plays the role of a Velociraptor trainer.

In addition, Chris Pratt will once again appear as Star-Lord in GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY 3, although the release date for that film has not been determined yet. Later, the film will tell the story of the post AVENGERS: ENDGAME galaxy guardians.
