Line-up of Indonesian Celebrities as Voice Actors in Disney's 'MULAN'

Three famous Indonesian actresses and actors, Yuki Kato, Dion Wiyoko, and Luna Maya, will be the voice actors in Disney's live-action film 'MULAN'. Yuki Kato will voice Mulan, Dion Wiyoko, who is one of the favorite actors, will voice the character Honghui. Meanwhile, Luna Maya will play the role of Xianniang, a new character in Disney's live-action film 'MULAN' and an ally of the villainous character in the film.

2. Synopsis

This film tells the story of a strong, powerful, and loving female warrior who will risk everything for her love for her family and country. As a child, Mulan is burdened with the task of bringing honor to her family. However, a situation arises when the Chinese Empire is attacked by the Hun Nation from the north. The Emperor requires every family to send one man to fight on the battlefield.

Meanwhile, in Mulan's family, there is no male member other than her own father. The condition of her elderly father prompts Mulan to run away from home with her father's war equipment and clothing. She then joins other soldiers and undergoes training before the war. Along her journey, Mulan will meet Honghui, a skilled warrior who initially was Mulan's rival but ends up becoming Mulan's friend.

Disney's MULAN can be enjoyed exclusively on the Disney+ Hotstar streaming service starting from December 4.
