Disney Will Release 21 Films in 2021, Let's See What the Films Are!

Disney and 20th Century Fox also have a bunch of films that will be launched to satisfy the longing of their audience. They have even determined the release schedule for these films, as many films have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Here is the Disney and Fox release schedule for next year:

1. THE KING'S MAN - February 12

This film is a prequel to the independent intelligence agency. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, this film tells the story of a group of dictators who gather to plan a war to exterminate millions of people. Then there is one person who races against time to stop their evil plans. This film will be starred by Stanley Tucci, Gemma Arterton, Harris Dickinson, and other famous British artists.

2. EVERYBODY'S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE - February 26

This film is an adaptation of a musical drama. Telling the story of a 16-year-old teenager from Sheffield who wants to become a Drag Queen. And he is seeking full support from his family and friends to become a Drag Queen. This film will be starred by newcomer artist Max Harwwod, Sarah Lancashire, Lauren Patel, and Richard E.Grant.

3. ANTLERS - February 19

This film is one of Disney's horror films that tells the story of a teacher who discovers that one of his students has a dangerous secret with frightening consequences. This film directed by Scoot Cooper will be starred by Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons.

4. RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON - March 12

Told the story of Raya, one of the fighters from Kumandra, who is looking for the last dragon to restore the balance of her village. Because previously humans and dragons lived together, suddenly evil creatures came to destroy the village so the dragons sacrificed themselves for the villagers. This adventure fantasy film is directed by Paul Briggs and Dean Wellins who previously worked on BIG HERO and FROZEN.

5. BOB'S BURGERS - April 9

After experiencing release setbacks, Disney finally announced the release of the film BOB'S BURGERS. Loren Bouchard is the writer, director, and producer of this musical comedy drama. This film tells the story of how the Bob family keeps their family life by running Bob's dream restaurant.

6. RON'S GONE WRONG - April 23

One of the animated films that had to postpone its release schedule finally has a specific release date. RON'S GONE WRONG tells the story of friendship between humans and robots. Which is a boy whose robot friend doesn't work well. This film will be starred by Thomas Barbusca, and directed by Jean Philippe Vine, Octavio E, Rodriguez.

7. BLACK WIDOW - May 7

BLACK WIDOW released exactly 11 years after Scarlett Johansson's first appearance in IRON MAN 2. This film takes place after the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR in 2016 and AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR in 2018. It tells the story of Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johanson) reuniting with her old friend to take down the mysterious villain Taskmaster. David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz star in the film alongside Johansson.

8. CRUELLA - May 28

Emma Watson will soon star in the iconic film 101 DALMATIANS, where she will play the villain. Craig Gillespie will direct this film, previously he has also worked on the film I.TONYA. It is rumored that the film will be set in the 70s.

9. LUCA - June 18

The Oscar nominee Enrico Casarosa (LA LUNA) will direct the next Pixar film. This film tells the story of Luca, who spends his summer in the Italian Riviera with his friend. And this friend is a sea monster from another world. 'This is a very personal story for me, not only because it is set in the Italian Riviera where I grew up, but because the core of this film is a celebration of friendship,' said Casarosa in his press release. 10. SHANG CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE 10 RINGS - July 9

Destin Daniel Cretton (JUST MERCY) directs a film about Master Of Kungfu. The character was introduced in a comic book in 1973. Simiu Liu will play the titular character with Awkwafina. The film just finished shooting in October after a four-month hiatus.

11. JUNGLE CRUISE - July 30

Taken from the popular Disney ride, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will play the captain of a riverboat in the 1930s who embarks on an exploration mission into the jungle. Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall, Paul Giamatti, Edgar Ramirez, and Jesse Plemons will also star in this film.

12. DEEP WATER - August 13

Based on the book by Patricia Highsmith, the film tells the story of a couple who have fallen in love and begin playing mind games with each other. Ben Affleck, Tracy Letts, and Ana de Armas will star in this thriller film. Affleck and Armas are rumored to have started dating after filming ended. In August, they went on a double date with Affleck's longtime friend, Matt Damon, and his wife, Luciana Barroso.

13. THE BEATLES: GET BACK - August 27

Disney announced that they have obtained permission for the documentary film BEATLES Peter Jackson in March 2020. According to the press release, the film will depict the making of the band's album Let It Be and their final live concert on Savile Row London. This film was made using over 55 hours of unseen footage filmed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg in 1969 and 140 hours of mostly unheard audio recordings from the "Let It Be" album sessions.

14. THE LAST DUEL - October 15

Ridley Scott will direct this epic film set in the 14th century. It tells the story of two knights whose bond is tested. The film stars Ben Affleck, Damon, Adam Driver, and Jodie Comer.

15. THE ETERNALS - November 5

The film tells the story of a group of immortal humans created by cosmic gods. Disney and Marvel have high hopes for this film to achieve success like GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY. GAME OF THRONES stars Richard Maden and Kit Harrington will reunite in this film. They will be joined by other big-name actors such as Kumail Nanjiani (Stuber), Lauren Ridloff (The Walking Dead), Brian Henry Tyree (Atlanta), Salam Hayek, Don Lee, and Angelina Jolie.

16. WEST SIDE STORY - December 10

Directed and produced by Steven Spielberg, Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler star in this film as the main characters Tony and Maria. There are also other cast members such as Ariana DeBose, Corey Stoll, Brian d'Arcy James, and Rita Moreno who starred in the original film.

17. UNTITLED LIVE-ACTION - To Be Announced

The live-action version of THE LITTLE MERMAID still does not have a definite release date. But if we had to guess when this film will be released, it is likely to be on December 17, 2021. Singer Halle Bailey from the duo Chloe x Halle will play Ariel. This remake will include original songs and new songs by Alan Menken and Hamilton creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda.

18. THE FRENCH DISPATCH - To Be Announced

The 10th film by Wes Anderson is among the films delayed in 2020. Many things are favored by Anderson, including Adrien Brody, Frances McDormand, Bill Murray, and Owen Wilson who joined together for the story of an American magazine. Timothee Chalamet will also join this film.

19. THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE - To Be Announced

Several FOX productions still do not have a definite release date. This is a documentary film with a title that follows the history of televangelist Tammy Faye and Jim Bakker. Michael Showalter will direct the film starring Chastain, Andrew Garfield, and Vincent D'Onofrio.

20. Disney Has 2 Untitled Films. 20th Century Will Announce Release Dates in September and November.

Currently, Disney has two films that do not have titles, and 20th Century will release them on September 10, 2021, and December 3, 2021. More announcements will be made later. One of them is THE WOMAN IN THE WINDOW by Amy Adams which has long been postponed. This film is adapted from the novel by A.J Finn with the same title.
