Chris Pratt Stars in the Latest Comedy Film 'THE BLACK BELT'

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Chris Pratt will star in a comedy-themed karate film titled THE BLACK BELT. The film tells the story of a shy teenage boy who tries to learn karate and his uncle who guides him throughout the journey.

The character of the uncle in this film is rumored to be played by Chris Pratt although there is no official statement from THE BLACK BELT. The main character and director of this film have not been determined yet. However, Randall Green has been appointed as the scriptwriter for this film.

1. Still Busy

Although appointed as a cast member in the comedy film THE BLACK BELT, Chris Pratt is still busy with other film projects. The 41-year-old actor is currently occupied with various films, ranging from JURASSIC WORLD, GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY 3, THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER, to the remake of the Vietnamese comedy film THE SAIGON BODYGUARDS.

With the overwhelming busyness and the absence of a main actor and director being chosen, it seems that THE BLACK BELT will not start production anytime soon. Considering that this film will also be produced by Chris Pratt's production house, Indivisible Productions, it is impossible for THE BLACK BELT to be released in the near future.

2. Becoming a Producer

THE BLACK BELT will be the latest film handled by Chris Pratt's Indivisible Productions. Previously, this production house will also handle the remake of the Vietnamese comedy film titled THE SAIGON BODYGUARDS.

In addition to being an actor, Chris Pratt will also serve as a producer, assisted by his colleague Jon Schumacher. Monarch Media and its leaders Steve Bernett and Alan Powell will also be involved in producing this comedy film. Meanwhile, promotion and distribution will be managed by UTA Independent Film Group.
