HBO Releases Teen Dilemma Story Series 'WE ARE WHO WE ARE'

Kapanlagi.com - After the drama series EUPHORIA which garnered quite a few viewers a few months ago and was temporarily halted for the shooting of the second season, HBO will now release a mini-series that also has a similar topic to EUPHORIA. This mini-series is titled WE ARE WHO WE ARE. Although the storyline of this series is not as daring as EUPHORIA, the main character is similar to a character named Rue. The release date has been planned for September 14th, after releasing the trailer on July 27th. This series is directed by Luca Guadagnino who has directed the hit film CALL ME BY YOUR NAME.

This series is played by Jack Dylan Grazer, Jordan Kristine Seamon, Kid Cudi, Francesca Scorsese, Alice Braga, Chloë Sevigny, Tom Mercier and many more. The names of the actors may not be familiar, but they are impressive in acting.

The story in this series consists of 8 episodes that depict teenage stories. Centered around the characters Fraser and Caitlin who are 14 years old at the time and feel that they do not fit in with their friends. This is because of their rebellious attitude. HBO itself has explained that WE ARE WHO WE ARE will explore friendship, first love, and self-identity. This will undoubtedly immerse viewers in the sadness and excitement of being a teenager, an experience that everyone goes through.

Similar to the story of teenagers in EUPHORIA, characters like Fraser, Caitlin, and their friends are struggling to find their place in the world and search for their identities, with the support of their parents. In the series trailer, Fraser mentions that Caitlin is going through a change. This proves that Caitlin is searching for her identity and does not want to conform to her surroundings.

WE ARE WHO WE ARE has been designed to explore the lives of modern American teenagers, including the complexities of life, fear, and curiosity. The reason Guadagnino specifically chose to focus on 14-year-old teenagers is because he remembers the frustration felt by teenagers trying to find their own identity under parental guidance.

Guadagnino knows exactly what he is doing. The reason for focusing on the age of 14 is because teenagers at this age have burning ambitions, even if they do not intend to fulfill them. All teenagers have is curiosity, desire, and experiences. Every day feels like a struggle between life and death. Rue's character in EUPHORIA is slightly older than Fraser and Caitlin's characters, but they truly understand the fight for their rights between life and death.
