Although it is scheduled to air at the end of this year, not much information has been obtained regarding the character of Dr. Doom, who is the main villain in AVENGERS DOOMSDAY. How about we take a peek at what he looks like in the comics?

As the information that has circulated widely suggests, the portrayal of Dr. Doom (Robert Downey Jr) in AVENGERS DOOMSDAY will be somewhat inspired by the character of Doom in the comic SECRET WARS, which was released from May 2015 to January 2016. The story was written by Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by comic artist Esad Ribic. 

In SECRET WARS, Dr. Doom has the power to create a new reality. He creates a new world called Battleworld. In this world, he is like a god. Not only because of his power, but he also makes the inhabitants believe that Battleworld is the only world and Doom is their god. 

Will the Doom in AVENGERS DOOMSDAY be like this? We will find out on December 18, 2026. At least take a look at this light information that we have gathered.

Dr. Doom in the comic version is depicted as a cold figure, not much of a talker, and harboring a million mysteries. No one can guess what he truly desires. With the powers he possesses, he chooses to create a new world.
