A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS tells the story of a boy named Nikolas who embarks on a journey north to find his father, who is on his way to find the village of the fairy tale elves, Elfheim. It is a dangerous journey and Nikolas faces many obstacles, but he eventually finds Elfheim, which can only be found by certain people. However, there he learns that humans are not well-received and he ends up being imprisoned.
This film is adapted from a children's book by Matt Haig, in addition to the books titled The Girl Who Saved Christmas and A Mouse Called Miika, which tell the story of Nikolas' friends and they will also appear in this film.
This film will be starred by new actor Henry Lawfull as Nikolas, but he will be accompanied by great actors such as Toby Jones, Dame Maggie Smith, veteran actor Jim Broadbent, Stephen Merchant, and many more.
A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS will be directed by Gil Kenan, who previously participated in major films such as GHOSTBUSTER: AFTERLIFE, MONSTER HOUSE, and POLTERGEIST
