In 1996, Calvin "The Golden Jet" Joyner received an award at his school, Central High. While giving a speech, the event suddenly turned chaotic due to bullying actions by Trevor Olson and his group.

They threw Robbie Weirdicht, an overweight student who was showering while dancing, into the middle of the hall naked. Everyone laughed at Robbie, except for Calvin and his girlfriend Maggie, who showed sympathy instead.

Calvin even immediately covered Robbie with his varsity jacket to prevent him from being further humiliated. Robbie, touched, then ran away in shame and heartbreak. This incident became a turning point in his life later on.

2. A Meeting Twenty Years Later
