At that time, a young noblewoman named Jane St. Remy de Valois (played by Hilary Swank) had no money due to political turmoil. Therefore, her family's name fell. This prompted Jane to seek revenge by committing fraud against a very valuable necklace in order to regain her wealth.

Georgiana herself is a woman whose beauty is famous throughout the country. However, this story is not only focused on Georgiana's fashionable life. In fact, Georgiana's married life did not go smoothly. Her inability to give birth to a male child caused her husband's affection to fade and he had a mistress. Georgiana, feeling betrayed, eventually also fell in love with another man.
