Trailer 'THE MIDNIGHT SKY' Tells the Post-Apocalyptic World & Lonely Scientist

Kapanlagi.com - While cinemas are still struggling to recover, Netflix continues to offer interesting content in their streaming service. Every month, they present feature films created by world-renowned filmmakers. One of the latest films, Netflix will soon present THE MIDNIGHT SKY directed and starring George Clooney.

Leading up to its release, The Midnight Sky releases its first official trailer which showcases the post-apocalyptic story and introduces us to Augustine (George Clooney), a lonely scientist stationed in the Arctic. Augustine tries to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning to the place where the global disaster occurred.

Adapted from the acclaimed novel Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton, The Midnight Sky is written by Mark L. Smith and produced by Grant Heslov, George Clooney, Keith Redmon, Bard Dorros, and Cliff Roberts. Additionally, Barbara A. Hall, Todd Shuster, Jennifer Gates, and Greg Baxter serve as Executive Producers. The players who will fill 'The Midnight Sky' include George Clooney, Felicity Jones, David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, Demián Bichir, Kyle Chandler, and Caoilinn Springall. 

In this film, Clooney plays an old man who is quiet in age and character, quite different from his previous films. Interestingly, in this film, Clooney looks very old that he is not recognized by his own wife. Are KLovers curious about George Clooney's new look in his latest film?
