Cha Eun Woo ASTRO, Jaehyun NCT, Jungkook BTS, and Mingyu SEVENTEEN Hang Out Together in Itaewon During Social Distancing Period

Kapanlagi.com - According to an exclusive report from Korean media Dispatch, Cha Eun Woo, Jaehyun, Jungkook, and Mingyu went together to Itaewon on April 25th. That day was the same day when the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) issued a statement urging Korea to be cautious and re-emphasizing the importance of social distancing.

Dispatch said that they have confirmed the rumors of Cha Eunwoo, Jaehyun, Jungkook, and Mingyu's meeting. The four idols, who are all born in '97, visited a restaurant and 2 entertainment facilities. According to Koreaboo on Monday (5/18), the problem is how these idols handled their visit after the outbreak of the new covid-19 cases related to Itaewon.

A witness from Itaewon who was at the same place as the four idols commented on this issue.

"I was at the same place as [the four related idols], and my test results came back negative. However, I isolated myself for two weeks. The problem will only get worse if people act like nothing is happening and continue their activities as usual," said the witness.

2. Continuing Activities

KCDC requested that anyone who visited Itaewon between April 24th and May 6th undergo testing. Jungkook, Cha Eunwoo, Jaehyun, and Mingyu took the test and received negative results. However, KCDC recommends that someone should self-isolate for 2 weeks, during the virus incubation period. This means they should stay at home until May 10th.

But what happened was Cha Eunwoo started his comeback promotions with ASTRO on May 7th. He appeared on Cultwo Show and Hidden Track. He also performed on Music Bank on May 8th, and Music Core on May 9th.

Jaehyun continued to be the MC for Inkigayo and appeared on the episodes on April 26th, May 3rd, and May 10th. Meanwhile, Jungkook and Mingyu do not have any official schedules.

3. Statement from Agencies

Each idol agency has released a follow-up statement regarding this Dispatch news. In their statements, all four agencies confirmed that their artists went out with friends on April 25th, as reported.
