Charged in Alleged Assault Case, San E's Prosecution Deferred

The fight was triggered by a misunderstanding when San E admonished 'A' to properly control his bicycle. This escalated to physical action where San E allegedly used his phone to strike 'A', causing injuries around the victim's eye and damage to his teeth.

This incident began when San E, whose real name is Jung San, was in a park and saw 'A' riding a bicycle. When San E confronted him, the situation escalated and resulted in a physical fight involving both parties.

After the fight occurred, the police quickly arrived at the scene and conducted an initial investigation. San E was arrested in August 2023, and his father was also involved in the incident, leading to both of them being charged with assault.

2. Prosecutor's Decision and San E's Apology

After an in-depth investigation, the Western District Prosecutor's Office in Seoul decided on February 25, 2025, not to prosecute San E on charges of special injury. This decision was made due to mitigating circumstances, resulting in the prosecution of San E being suspended.

As a result of this decision, San E will not have a criminal record. On the other hand, San E publicly expressed his apology to the victim, stating, “I sincerely apologize to the victim in this assault case.”
