Event 'Hallyu Tourism Festival' Presents Popular Korean Drama Shooting Locations in Indonesia, Open for Free to the Public!

Kapanlagi.com - Good news for Korea Lovers! The Hallyu Tourism Festival: A Heart Pounding Escape to Korea event is coming to the Main Atrium of Lotte Mall Jakarta from July 11th to 14th, 2024.

This event is organized by the Korea Tourism Organization, the tourism board of Korea, to promote Korean tourism worldwide. Hallyu Tourism Festival: A Heart Pounding Escape to Korea presents various installations built in the concept of Hallyu and has diverse areas. From K-Drama, K-Food, K-pop, to K-Tourism arenas.

"After analyzing for several months, we are confident that the number of Indonesian visitors to Korea in 2024 will exceed the number of visitors in 2019, which was around 278 thousand tourists. In addition, in 2024, there are many factors that encourage Indonesian tourists to visit Korea, such as the opening of direct flights from Indonesia to various cities in Korea, such as Busan, and the campaign from KTO to promote Hallyu destinations and the latest festivals throughout the year, including through this event," said Director of the Korea Tourism Organization Jakarta Office, Kim Jisun, during the Media Gathering event of Hallyu Tourism Festival 2024, on Thursday (11/7), at Lotte Mall Jakarta.

1. K-Drama Zone

Hallyu Tourism Festival: A Heart Pounding Escape to Korea presents replica installations of K-Drama filming locations that have been booming in recent years. Starting from the installation of Cheongna Lake Park which serves as the background for the drama The Glory. This installation is a Baduk board that has a table, wooden chairs, and several flat white and black stones, the place where Yeo Jeong and Do Yeong play Baduk.

The second installation comes from the Heart Tree at Sono Calm Jeju Resort which serves as the background for the drama King the Land. The place where Goo Won and Sarang took phenomenal photos from the drama. This installation is an artificial heart-shaped tree that allows visitors to take photos under the artificial tree.

The third installation comes from the camping car which serves as the background for the reality show BTS In the Soop 2. The place where Suga writes songs while other BTS members play outside the camping car. This installation presents a camping car as the background of the photo wall and red seats that visitors can sit on to take photos.

The next installation comes from a bonfire on a beach which serves as the background for the drama Castaway Diva. Place where Mokha does a photoshoot for the drama Castaway Diva. This installation is in the form of a bonfire replica and coconut trees with a beach background.

Another installation in the form of a K-Drama is a booth that displays the latest booming drama clips in a mini cinema that can be visited by visitors. Also, a 3D hologram that shows the main actors of popular dramas so that visitors can take photos with the hologram.

2. K-Food Zone

In addition to the K-Drama Zone, the K-Food Zone is also available for visitors who want to taste various Korean foods for free by following KTO's Instagram and Youtube. Easy, right? The various foods provided are Woo Young Woo's favorite foods in the drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo, which are Kimbab and Bibimguksu; as well as other latest popular Korean foods, namely Cream Bread and Korean Pouch Drink.

There is also a K-Pop installation for visitors to write messages or wishes to their idols through sticky notes and stick them on the K-pop installation wall. For visitors who are curious about the latest destinations and what KTO is promoting, they can come to the K-Tourism installation. KTO provides Hallyu destination books, the latest Korean travel guide books, and brochures containing various festivals held throughout the year 2024 in this installation.

3. KDessert Workshop

Not only installations are provided at this event, but also stage events to liven up the event. The stage event that can be participated by registering is KDessert Workshop, which is divided into 3 classes namely K-Tart on Friday, K-Cake on Saturday, and K-Macaron on Sunday. In addition, there will be a K-Pop Dance Cover stage event on Friday, Tiara Andini's performance with her latest hits on Saturday night, and Talkshow, Lucky Draw, and Sorijilleo Noraebang as the peak event on Sunday.
