"There are some similar habits that I saw in Brunei and Indonesia, such as the tradition of buying new clothes, the tradition of returning to the hometown, visiting graves, and Halal bihalal. Even in Brunei, there is an open house for Halal bihalal for a full month. There are some traditions that I really want to see if there is a chance, such as Grebeg Syawal in Yogyakarta or Bakar Lemang Bambu in Sumatra," he added.

Jaz revealed that what makes the celebration of Eid al-Fitr in Jakarta so enjoyable is seeing millions of people together celebrating the day of victory. This makes the taste of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr very pronounced.

"I am even happier because this year I can see children playing firecrackers again, I can see the bedug drum being played again in various places. Hopefully, this improving situation will not be followed by another COVID cluster issue," Jaz hoped.
