It took about a year to make the album because I wanted to create a satisfying album even though it took a long time. I worked hard to improve the level of prepared content."

Meanwhile, MAX CHANGMIN, who has just returned with his second mini album, Devil, has gained love for his ability as a host on the "Free Hug" program, which airs every Wednesday at 6:00 PM KST on Naver NOW.

MAX CHANGMIN released his second mini album DEVIL on Thursday (13/1/2020). Through his comeback, TVXQ member revealed that he participated in writing lyrics for two tracks in the album, Devil and Alien.

This is not the first time Changmin has released his own lyrics, as it is known that the idol has written lyrics for his own songs as well as TVXQ's songs. For his comeback title track, he was asked to write the lyrics for Devil.

"I had previously written lyrics and because this is for the title track of the album, producer YOO YOUNG JIN suggested that I try to write the lyrics. I was lucky because we were able to process the lyrics that I wrote and the result was satisfying and suitable for the vibe of the song," explained Changmin during the press conference before the release of his album, hosted by his fellow group member, Yunho TVXQ, as the MC, on Thursday (13/1/2020).

4. About the Lyrics of Devil

Changmin admitted that he changed the lyrics with a personal message. The original lyrics of the song were about a terrifying devil, but he managed to change it while still maintaining a dark vibe.

"The original song was about how terrifying the devil is, but I thought this incredible energy would also fit with the idea of what if you managed to not listen to the devil's whispers, and that's the message I want to convey," he explained.

5. Writing 2 Songs in the 2nd Mini Album 'Devil'

The 2nd mini album 'Devil' by MAX CHANGMIN consists of a total of 6 songs with various genres, including the songs 'Devil' and 'Alien' which were written by MAX CHANGMIN.

'Devil' is a slow R&B song with a groovy drum accompaniment, bass riff, and an acapella part in the chorus. The lyrics of this song make the listeners feel a strong charisma with a desire to move forward confidently without giving in to the devil's whispers, even in difficult circumstances.

Meanwhile, 'Alien' is a medium pop dance song that expresses love at first sight in an adorable way, comparing it to meeting an alien for the first time in a mysterious place. MAX CHANGMIN's vocal range showcased in this song adds to its attractiveness.
