Performing at the Oscar After Party, A.C.E: We Feel Honored

Kapanlagi.com - After winning multiple awards at the prestigious 92nd Academy Awards, the director and cast of the film PARASITE attended the after party held at Soho House. The event was organized by the film distributor PARASITE in the United States, Neon.

The event organizers invited boy group A.C.E to liven up the party. A.C.E, which stands for Adventure Calling Emotions, is a five-member boy group under Beat Interactive and debuted in 2017.

1. Bring K-Pop Hits Songs

A.C.E who was asked to perform at this Oscar after party performed their song titled Under Cover. In addition, they also covered popular K-Pop songs such as DNA and Fake Love by BTS as well as We are the Future and Hope by H.O.T.

The song list was chosen by the event organizers who are familiar with A.C.E from their KCON and US concerts. After receiving the offer to perform at the after party, A.C.E practiced hard and prepared these songs well.

3. Unpleasant Treatment from TMZ

Despite the success of A.C.E's performance at the after party, this boy group received unpleasant treatment from the gossip site TMZ, known for their racist actions in 2015. In a video, a TMZ reporter referred to Byeongkwan and Jun, whom they met in front of the after party location, as members of BTS.

Due to language barriers, Byeongkwan and Jun only responded to the TMZ reporter at length after the questions asked were translated into Korean. In the video, TMZ openly criticized this issue as they did not understand the Korean language.
