This group was formed through the Mnet program Boys Planet and made their debut on July 10, 2023. Their first album titled YOUTH IN THE SHADE successfully sold over two million units and topped the South Korean Circle Album Chart.
This group consisting of 9 members will soon release their Japanese digital single titled Only One Story on October 11, 2024. Uniquely, this song has been chosen as the opening soundtrack for the latest series of the popular anime Pokémon.
With impressive abilities, ZEROBASEONE has swept 10 Rookie of the Year awards at various award shows including the Golden Disc Awards, MAMA Awards, Melon Music Awards, and Seoul Music Awards.
Kim Ji Woong, born on December 14, 1998, was previously a member of the boy group INX. He also underwent trainee periods at SM Entertainment. He made his drama debut in 2021 in THE SWEET BLOOD and has appeared in several other Korean films and dramas.
Another member of Chinese nationality is Ricky, who was born on May 20, 2004. Before joining the survival show Boys Planet, he underwent a training period of 2 years and 2 months.
The youngest member, or maknae, Han Yu Jin was born on March 20, 2007. After joining Boys Planet, Yu Jin underwent a training period of 2 years and 3 months.
The rapper from ZEROBASEONE is Park Gun Wook, who was born on January 10, 2005. He previously participated as a contestant in the survival show MBC Extreme Debut: Wild Idol and was eliminated in the final episode.
The center and main vocal of this group is held by Zhang Hao, who was born on July 25, 2000. He ranked first in the Mnet survival show and became the participant from China who successfully secured the center position.
Seok Matthew was born and raised in Canada on May 28, 2002. He was once a trainee under the Japanese agency HYBE and participated in the &TEAM program, but failed and joined the Mnet survival show.

Sung Han Bin is the leader, visual, and main dancer of ZEROBASEONE. He was born on June 13, 2001, and is a former trainee at Cube Entertainment.
Kim Tae Rae, who was born on July 14, 2002, serves as the main vocal in his group. He trained for 2 years and 1 month before Boys Planet.
