Wheesung's Drug Transaction Before Being Found Unconscious Captured on CCTV

Previously reported, Wheesung was found unconscious in a bathroom of a building located in Songpa District, Seoul, on Tuesday night (31/03). The singer from the ginseng country tested negative for drugs and was sent home after the police concluded that he used non-illegal anesthetic drugs.

On April 2nd, MBN News aired a CCTV recording video where Wheesung met with a man who gave him a black package. MBN explained that the contents of the package in the recorded video before Wheesung was found unconscious were drugs.

According to the report, Wheesung got out of a taxi and made a phone call before meeting the man. They chatted briefly before Wheesung received the package from the unknown man.

Wheesung entered a building and was found unconscious in the bathroom 30 minutes after the incident in this video. He was found with a package, several syringes, and a bottle containing liquid.

2. Eyewitness Statement

The first eyewitness to the incident told MBN, "At first, he was unconscious and didn't understand anything I said and gave strange answers... then he kept shivering like he was cold. Like convulsions."

MBN further explained that the drugs found at the scene were a type of anesthetic. Although not classified as illegal drugs, this anesthetic cannot be purchased without a doctor's prescription.

"I conducted a transaction with someone I knew online," Wheesung said during the police investigation, as reported by Soompi. Currently, Wheesung is under investigation for alleged repeated illegal use of propofol.
